Notes

Transfer:

All hotel bookings on the Maldives include transfer arrangements either by speedboat, domestic flight or seaplane. In case of hotel only booking, please share your booking reference and flight details with our service team to arrange the transfers accordingly.

The maximum baggage allowance for the transfer by domestic flight and by seaplane is max. 20 kg for checked baggage and 5 kg for hand baggage per person. The fee for excess baggage must be paid directly to the airline (approx. USD 5.00 per kilo). In this case, your luggage will be delivered on a later plane or by boat. Children below the age of 2 are not entitled for baggage allowance. There is no maximum baggage allowance for speedboat transfers.

Please note that seaplane and domestic flights only operate during daylight hour.
• If your flight arrives before 03:15 p.m., transfer to the resort will be arranged the same day
• If your flight arrives after 03:15 p.m., you will need to make arrangement for an overnight stay in Malé for the first night of your stay
• If your flight departure is prior to 09.00 a.m., you will need to make arrangement for an overnight stay in Malé for the last night of your stay
Transfer timings and duration mentioned are approximate and may change due to conditions such as weather, tides, rough seas, etc.

If a guest cannot be transferred to the resort from Malé due to severe weather conditions, the resort will relocate the guest in the city in a tourist accommodation, based on availability.
Please note that transfers run according to scheduled times. The travel and waiting times at the airport might be longer if the transfer is by domestic flight or seaplane. Standard waiting time at the airport can be 1 – 6 hours.

Tourist Tax/Green Tax:

The Green Tax is already included in the tour price. Please note that for infants (under 24 months), the government Green Tax must be paid directly to the resort (approximately $6/night).

Accommodation:

Sinks, bathtubs or whirlpools may be open and without physical separation in the living area of your hotel room in the Maldives. In some accommodations, there may be no balcony railings/barriers surrounding the beachfront rooms/waterfront bungalow terraces, allowing for direct access to the water/sea. If you are traveling with children, please check if this meets your safety needs before booking.

Arrival in the Maldives:

All tourists arriving in or departing from the Maldives are required to submit a health declaration within 96 hours prior to arrival/departure in the Maldives.
